Director's Statement
This story is inspired by the director’s experience as a volunteer for an NGO advocating for the sexual rights of people with disabilities. The daily life of those with severe disabilities is marked by passivity and a lack of privacy. Through intimate, boundary-less physical interactions and mundane tasks from which they are often excluded by the able-bodied, we explore the purity and darkness within a disabled youth. The mind’s ability to wander freely becomes a gateway to otherwise unreachable places. In this journey, we come to know deeper layers of the self.
